Umpire Jim Joyce and Armando Galarraga
The attendance of all 20 perfect games was 481,725, even though the attendance of the first couple games was unknown and is not reported, God works with what we place before him in good faith. In what the whole world believed was the 21st perfect game, umpire Jim Joyce called a player safe at first when the instant replay showed the player was out. That would have been the final out for the perfect game pitched by Armando Galarraga. So why did this happen? Is there anything in the numbers that might point us in the direction of an explanation in the numbers? Let’s first add the attendance of the game to the other 20 games. The kingdom of God is like nature. It grows like a tree with rings so let’s look at the cumulative total. The attendance at the game was 17,738. Now add 481,725 and 17,738. The answer is 499,463, which sequentially is 962, the Jared generation. Now God knows just how hard some nuts are to crack so here comes the nutcracker. Jim Joyce was born on October 3, 1955. Under the Genesis Calculator, we use 365 for the years multiplied by the number of years and then add the remainder days. (Disregard leap years because the order of the calculator is witnessed three times in 365, God using the Cy Young to confirm that he has accounted for the leap year, but another story.) So Jim was 54 years and 242 days on June 2, 2010, incidentally the day Junior waved goodbye in Seattle. His total day was 19,952. There's a 27/37 mystery revealed in Genesis. Any number divided by 27 that is not perfectly divisible will result in a triple digit repeating remainder that is perfectly divisible by 37. The opposite is also true. So here we divide 19,952 by 27 and the answer is 738.962. That's 962 again in case your heart just skipped a beat. God can be very expressive, but The Master is a gentle surgeon. Now let’s go around the calendar twice for 738 and look at the 8th day of the year.
We come to January 8. All home runs hit by players born on January 8 through 2009 equal 1335, which are all the days of the tribulation period referred to at the end of Daniel. But God wants you to see his glory and to believe so he has much more. Now we add 1-08 for the day January 8 to 1335 and see 1443, which are all the home runs hit by players born on December 7, which is Pearl Harbor. What God is saying is that he is accounting for the worst pain on the earth and bringing fullness of life to restore our hearts to him, regardless of the past pains in our life, the new life in Christ now shines. You can go to the story here entitled George Steinbrenner in Genesis and see all ten generations multiplied and the wonders that appear. The glory of God is shining through Major League Baseball. Now here's a word to Jim Joyce.
Mr. Jim Joyce, God Almighty has seen your days, he knows your heart and he knows your play. He knows the pain that you carry each day and he wants to carry your pain away. When God sent his Son into the earth, he caused the authorities to be blind from his birth. When Pilate made his call, what resulted was the wonder of it all. When you see the glory of the work of God in your life you'll see the end to all strife. So make your calls and make them in faith for it is the Master who stands with you each day. Thank you so much for being all in the game Mr. Joyce. Let the whole world re-Joyce. Now let’s play ball!
